In ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7, ArcGIS Excalibur 1.0 introduces a capability called user settings, which are user-defined settings that provide flexible and relevant experiences based on your needs. User settings are stored and saved with your portal account. This allows you to access the ArcGIS Excalibur application on different machines in different locations while maintaining your customized experience when you are signed in with the same portal account.
User settings are defined and set in the My Settings section of ArcGIS Excalibur and scale across numerous aspects of the application. Certain settings allow you to customize your Image catalog search experience by choosing your default basemap and initial extent. You can also choose the imagery services in My available imagery on which you want to search. Other settings allow you to change the viewing mode based on the lighting environment in which you're using the application.
You can customize some user settings in ArcGIS Excalibur 1.0 and the number of customizable user settings will increase in future releases. See Updating user settings for more information.
